Takes up significant space, and it's worth it. Would never sacrifice the sound files which to me are vital, and they shouldn't abandon that ever. I love quality sound. My only suggestions would be to fix the keyboard issues (cursor position,can't use autocorrect) and get swipe typing to work (stock android). Enable different ways to sort the whole list of birds, and for the app to eventually become stylized in HOLO form, to match the way Android currently looks.
The books & reference apps/apk get many good reviews from user that installing iBird Pro - v 3.0.8 in their smartphone and tablet.
